New Physiotherapy study planned for patients with Fibromyalgia

Prof Joe McVeigh and colleagues in the University of Ulster are planning to recruit patients with Fibromyalgia for a new study exploring the benefits of intensive physiotherapy. The primary research team met in Belfast yesterday with the support of Arthritis Research UK and the study should provide insight into the benefits of Physiotherapy for this complex condition. It will definitely help provide an alternative to the over-medication of patients with this chronic condition. Watch this space for regular up dates on the study.
